Diana II
When yard number 592 was completed in 1979, MEYER WERFT revealed Diana II – a ro-ro ferry built for AB Slite in Sweden.
The 137-metre ship was initially used along the route between Stockholm, Mariehamn and Turku before changing its name on several occasions and operating in other Baltic States. Diana II could accommodate up to 1,900 passengers and 555 vehicles.
After being renamed “Bluefort”, the ship was converted into an accommodation vessel for employees at an offshore wind farm in 2007.
