The employees in our Engineering are needed at every moment of our cruise ship construction process. They’re involved as early as the pre-contract phase and develop the entire construction of our ocean giants, from the creation of initial drafts to the exact planning and design of individual ship components. They produce detailed production documents and drawings, and they’re involved throughout the entire ship construction process. This makes them the most important suppliers in production. They also process any warranty claims.

Throughout the entire process, the employees in our Engineering are in constant interaction with the Sales and Design department, the shipping company, the Purchasing department and the classification society. Their aim is to develop and deliver high-quality and technically sound products.

MEYER WERFT employs a wide range of professionals in its Engineering department, such as engineers, technicians and designers. They all work together to create our ocean liners.
