Advanced Training Award presented

Papenburg, 04.04.2008 - MEYER WERFT employees, who successfully completed advanced training courses, received an award from the company to thank them for the willingness to learn and for their commitment to acquire more special knowledge. The participants of the training courses contributed to the training courses in the form of funds and also working hours previously saved in dedicated accounts. This was the fourth time that shipyard employees received this kind of award, a "propeller", which, in the shipbuilding trade, symbolizes forward movement. MEYER WERFT will continue to promote this kind of human resources development so that many more employees will be enticed to keep on learning for the job.

The 122,000-gt ships for Celebrity Cruises will have a length overall of 315 m and a breadth of 36.8 m. 2,850 passengers will be accommodated in 1,425 cabins.
