Cruise flair at MEYER WERFT's Visitors Centre on 21 June 2008 In 2007 almost 300,000 visitors came to Papenburg to visit MEYER WERFT. And the number of visitors continues to grow, which doesn't come as a suprise, given the large number of interesting cruise ships under construction for AIDA Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Disney Cruise Line. On 21 June 2008 the gates of the Visitors Centre will stay open from 6 p.m. to midnight, offering visitors the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the impressive newbuildings in the building docks. More interesting, cruise-related events will be presented by the Papenburg Tourist Association both at the yard and also in the town of Papenburg. At the Visitors Centre also drinks and snacks will be offered.
