MEYER WERFT prevents the spreading of Coronavirus with intensive measures to pro-tect the health of employees, suppliers and partners.

Further developments in connection to the Coronavirus are monitored very closely and all preventive measures are adapted to it if necessary. The health and safety are always top priority.

All preventive measures are coordinated with medical experts and authorities and aligned to the CLIA guidelines, which are currently realized by customers of MEYER WERFT on their cruise ships.

Following measurements amongst other have been taken:

• Ban of business trips for all employees to the affected countries as China, Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan, Italy or South Korea (high-risk areas) and extensive general avoidance of business trips

• Further increase of hand sanitizers on the ship yard

• Phone hotlines for all employees, suppliers and partners

Additionally all employees are appealled to protect their own and the health of col-leagues with foresighted and responsible behaviour. This includes reguar hand wishing and sanitizing, coughing and sneezing etiquette and renunciation of body contact such as handshaking.
