Hammershus

Two years after Bornholmerpilen had been delivered by MEYER WERFT, the structurally identical Hammershus was completed. It was delivered to the Danish shipping company Dampskibsselskabet in 1965.

Until 1992, Hammershus connected Bornholm with the Danish mainland, as well as Swedish and German ports. The ferry was then used by various shipping companies in Italy, Greece and Croatia. In 2005, the vessel was scrapped in India. It was known as “Aljica Mira” at the time.
