Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Solstice is a cruise liner of the highest calibre that has been voyaging through the oceans since 2008. It’s part of the Solstice Class operated by Celebrity Cruises – its sister ships are Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Silhouette. The series also includes Celebrity Reflection, which is slightly larger than its predecessors. The fleet boasts the first ever outside area with a real lawn, where guests can relax and enjoy a picnic.

Celebrity Solstice has a large and elegant design. Its wide hull features superstructures with narrow parts and balconies that are slightly offset inwards. Guests can enjoy daylight in almost all cabins, as less than 10% of the 1,426 staterooms are located inside. Celebrity Solstice stands out for its spaciousness. Its atrium extends over 12 decks, featuring glazed panoramic elevators.

Environmental performance in focus: Celebrity Solstice consumes around 30% less energy than other vessels of its size. Its underwater coating ensures low-resistance cruising, and some of its superstructures are fitted with solar panels to generate additional energy. The coating on its glass surfaces reflects a large amount of the sun’s warmth to cut the energy spent on air conditioning, and the on-board systems are controlled by over 14,000 sensors to reduce lighting and air conditioning in unoccupied areas.
