The one millionth pipe to be produced since the MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center was founded on 01/01/2010, left the production line today. The company is a central service provider and supplier for the MEYER Group. About 52,000 pipes have to be made for every cruise ship. Altogether around 400 km of pipes are processed for a cruise ship.

Assisted by our engineers and technicians, we ensure that our standards and complex manufacturing processes go through further development work in future too. The highly automated process demands optimum planning and steering of all production areas. Quality management at the MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 since 2011. Furthermore, this year the company was also certified to ISO 50001:2011 for its functioning energy management and to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 for its occupational health and safety management.
