MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center produces the 1,000,000th pipe

The one millionth pipe to be produced since the MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center was founded on 01/01/2010, left the production line today. The company is a central service provider and supplier for the MEYER Group. About 52,000 pipes have to be made for every cruise ship. Altogether around 400 km of pipes are processed for a cruise ship.

Assisted by our engineers and technicians, we ensure that our standards and complex manufacturing processes go through further development work in future too. The highly automated process demands optimum planning and steering of all production areas. "The company's greatest asset consists of its workforce of around 215 top motivated, highly qualified employees. We can be proud of what our team achieves and look ahead to the future with every confidence", says Darko Čvoro, CEO of the MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center.

Staff at the MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center enjoy a high level of job security, thanks to the innovative alignment of the company and the fact that the MEYER WERFT's order books are full.

Quality management at the MEYER WERFT Pipe Machining Center has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 since 2011. Furthermore, this year the company was also certified to ISO 50001:2011 for its functioning energy management and to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 for its occupational health and safety management.
