Partner of the Year 2017

The best suppliers of MEYER WERFT, NEPTUN WERFT and MEYER TURKU as well as MEYER Group received the award “Partner of the Year 2017” in Warnemünde.

Last year the annual event became an event of MEYER Group for the first time. This year NEPTUN WERFT invited the suppliers as the local host to the Kurhaus in Warnemünde.

The „Partner of the Year“-Award is based on a supplier assessment conducted regularly by the shipyards. The following suppliers have been awarded:

• NEPTUN WERFT: Drews Marine GmbH
• MEYER WERFT: Consilium Marine & Safety AB
• MEYER TURKU: Helkama Bica Oy
• MEYER NEPTUN: Roxtec GmbH

In their acceptance speeches the prize-winners stressed the good, partner-based cooperation between the shipyards and its suppliers.

Bernard Meyer, Tim Meyer and Dr. Jan Meyer informed about the market situation in the cruise industry. After that they were as well as Klaus Lübbers (Chief Procurement Officer MEYER Group), Manfred Ossevorth (Managing Director NEPTUN WERFT) und Gunnar Pallutz (Head of Procurement NEPTUN WERFT) available for questions and discussions.

More than 200 guests participated in this year’s awarding ceremony.

Next year MEYER WERFT will be hosting the event in Papenburg.
