Dramatic situation for the cruise market – Consequences for MEYER Group

Our managing directors Bernard Meyer and Thomas Weigend explain the impact of the dramatic situation in the cruise market for MEYER Group. They also describe the consequences for our customers and our order book. Based on the assumption that no newbuilding orders are expected until 2023/24, we are now thinking about stretching our order book. This would result in a significantly lower workload, which ultimately means that we would also have to consider reducing our workforce.
