The Asian cruise operator Star Cruises is the youngest for which Meyer Werft is building cruise liners – they are the No.1 on the Asian market! Founded as late as in 1993, Star Cruises has meanwhile become the third largest cruise operator worldwide with a fleet of 21 ships. The company works under the umbrella brand Norwegian Cruise Line. Their ships operate not only in Asia, but throughout the world.

The fleet is still young, this is why it counts among the most modern ones. The ships offer entertainment and comfort, meeting even the wishes of very demanding passengers. In terms of safety and outfitting, the Star Cruises ships are state-of-the-art and meet, of course, all international rules and regulations.

Meyer Werft delivered SuperStar Virgo to the fleet in 1999.
