Spectrum of the Seas

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and MEYER WERFT agreed to build a fourth Quantum-class ship for delivery in spring 2019. The steel cutting of the Spectrum of the Seas in August 2017 marks the start of construction for the first ship in the new Quantum-Ultra-class. The Spectrum of the Seas will have a capacity for about 4,200 passengers at a dimension of 168,800 GT.

The first ships of this class – Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas – were delivered in fall 2014 and spring 2015. The third ship, Ovation of the Seas, was delivered in April 2016.
