First vessel of the Breakaway PLUS class
As the first ship of the Breakaway PLUS class, the Norwegian Escape combines all the features of the Norwegian Breakaway and the Norwegian Getaway, along with an additional deck to offer guests even more possibilities and innovative entertainment features.
The Norwegian Escape, which was delivered in autumn 2015, has a gross tonnage of 164,600 and enough space for 4,200 passengers. This makes it even larger than its predecessor craft, the Norwegian Breakaway and the Norwegian Getaway.
Moreover, the Escape is equipped with five exhaust emission treatment units, known as scrubbers. This modern, environmentally friendly technology means that the new luxury liner will exceed the requirements of current environmental standards.
With family cabins and studios for single passengers situated throughout the ship, the Norwegian Escape offers a wide selection of cabins to suit all tastes. In addition, there is a wide variety of suites in the exclusive area called ‘The Haven‘, which wellness fans and families will particularly appreciate.
