The IT & Organisation department at MEYER WERFT GmbH is responsible for a wide range of IT-Solutions. Based on V6-Systems by Dassault Systemes, the conception and implementation of a new PLM-Shipbuilding solution has stratecial significance. In sub-projects the new solution-modules are gradually established within the company.
As Software Developer CAx (male/female) it is your task to adjust these solution-modules to the individual needs of the yard. For the development of IT-Systems based on CAx, you are involved in the process from the conception up to the implementation. Through intensive co-operation with experts from various IT- divisions and international teams of solution providers, you design and program components and interfaces and secure the quality of externally developed modules. Thus, you are part of actively designing corresponding methods, tools and frameworks.
Your main tasks:
- Support of the IT-divisional contact person with requirement analysis
- Transition of the technical specification into appropriate IT-technical drafts
- Implementation and adjustment of CAx-solution-modules.

Since January 1st 2009, the MEYER WERFT Laserzentrum GmbH has been an independent company within the MEYER NEPTUN Group. The utilization of high-tech makes shipbuilding sustainable. An automated and clocked line production system produces steel sections in the size of 900m².
The MEYER WERFT Laserzentrum GmbH is one of the largest businesses in Europe dealing with laser welding systems. The automation is based on strongly linked machinery, which are demanding for availability and steadiness. As Service Technician, you will operate in this particular area and ensure the serviceability.

- General supervision and maintenance of plant and machinery controls
